FamiCord member companies started their activities in the following years:
1998 – Hungary, Krio Institute established in Budapest as 1st sperm bank in Hungary, in 2004 opening of cord blood processing laboratory in Budapest and Miskolc
2002 - Poland, Polski Bank Komórek Macierzystych (PBKM) main shareholder of FamiCord group established as 2nd cord blood bank in the country, opening of cord blood processing laboratory in Warsaw;
2004 – Latvia, Activision Life Latvia was founded, signing of cooperation agreement with laboratory located at Institute of Oncology (Warsaw), in 2007 laboratory was replaced with PBKM’s once;
2006 – Spain, cooperation agreement between PBKM and VidaCord Madrid was signed on cord blood processing and storage;
2007 – Romania, Biogenis Romania was founded, cooperation agreement with PBKM laboratory signed, in 2009 laboratory in Bucharest was opened;
2007 – Spain, Sevibe Cells was founded, cooperation agreement on cord blood processing and storage with PBKM’s laboratory signed;
2008 – agreements with partners from Croatia, Serbia and Romania (Cell Life Center) were signed.
2009 – Famicord Italy established in Milan.
